I really appreciate being able to stop at this store on my way home from work and pick up some fresh food for dinner. I love the baked goods. I also like their spice collection. As an American with no "Middle Eastern" background, I like to explore all the different foods and goods at this store. Everytime I go I find something I've never had and look for help on the internet to figure out how to cook it. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Went to a fabric store, stumbled upon this. Yumm! Wide variety of middle-eastern goodies, with an array of national origins. Friendly help from the staff for a couple specific items. We're having preserved Moroccan lemons on an almost daily basis Next time will be a detour on purpose, well worth it!

Came in because on Christmas Day, all other nearby big supermarkets were closed - bonus points for being opened on Christmas Day! I'm glad i walked in. Selection of all kinds of yummy middle eastern foods (some of it brought childhood memories-oh nostalgia!!). I especially was impressed by the selection of spices!! The checkout was fast, and with a smile (i could see it thru the mask-it's 2020). Will definitely be back!!!

As an Arab you can get almost everything you need from here. Prices are fair and they have good stock of things. It was a bit more crowded than usual when I went last week and some people were not complying with social distancing. The owner is very nice abs friendly . Clean , lots of parking space .

Best shawarmas I have ever had both chicken and beef with garlic and chili sauce it's so amazing. They also have a wonderful inventory of good quality products

As much as I mourned the closing of Fayez Grocery, with its charming and informative staff, I am delighted that it has been reopened by a new company. SOUQ INTERNATIONAL MARKETS Inside the store, once a Walgreens, looks like it has been gutted and rebuilt. All shiny and new, it has a different array of beautiful table and cook ware, textiles, and -- most important -- larger selection of meat, dairy, produce, and packaged goods (cans, boxes, and sacks). The aisles are a good, comfortable width. Lighting is good. Staff is busy, but friendly and informative. The pita is made in store in a traditional oven by a smiling woman who seems to care that the pita is just right. As to price and quality: All the usual brands from the old Fayez and AlMedina plus some new and beautiful ones, so IMHO a good range of packaged goods. Lower prices here on items I bought from AlMedina last week. And the best quality produce I have seen at a Middle Eastern Market! One more thing that should not be important, but is to me. No one, staff or customer, gave this jeans wearing, non-muslim, old white woman the sideways fish-eye of why are you here infidel variety that you get at markets on Hillcroft with names of cities also important to Christians(but rarely at AlMedina, and then only from older female customers). Right now, they are settling in and we all know what a circus that can be -- but I still give Souq Market a solid 4.5 as is. I look forward to great taste adventures at great prices from this store. But I did miss Mr. Isa. GO! Have fun at Souq!
